PAINESVILE, Ohio — Two individuals were injured after a tree fell on the car they were in during Sunday’s severe weather in Painesville.
Around 2:30 p.m., high winds caused a tree to fall on top of a car, deputies said.
There were two people in the car when the tree fell on it. Both were transported to TriPoint Medical Center with minor injuries, according to deputies.
Crews are working to clean up the debris. While they do, Riverside Drive between Madison Avenue and Overlook Road has been closed.
