A 47-year-old man died Friday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Madison Township in Lake County.
The victim was identified as Richard Ferrari, of Geneva, according to authorities.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. near North Ridge and Green roads intersection.
Ferrari was heading westbound on North Ridge Road on a 2005 Harley Davidson when he collided with a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer heading eastbound that was turning north on Green Road. Ferrari died from his injuries, authorities said.
The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The Chevrolet's 58-year-old driver wasn't injured in the crash and was released from the scene, police said.
