Willoughby police are investigating the suspicious death of a 59-year-old man found dead on Monday night on the city's southwest side.
Authorities were called to a home on the 37000 block of Arlington Drive around 11:24 p.m. for a welfare check. When officers arrived they found the man dead on a bedroom floor. The man was later identified as Sam Pizzuto. A preliminary investigation indicates Pizzuto died from blunt force trauma to the head during a struggle in the room where he was found, authorities said.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation assisted Willoughby police with processing the scene.
No arrests have been made in connection with the man's death. Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call the Willoughby Police Department at 440-953-4210.
