Some good news for Lake County -- Aero Fluid Products in Painesville is expanding its workforce and looking for 40 new employees.

The aerospace manufacturing company is expanding its facility. The 30,000-square-foot expansion at 313 Gillett Street comes with 40 full-time jobs and an anticipated additional payroll of $2.3 million. The company is expecting to invest $3-4 million into the project.

Officials including congressman David Joyce, Lake County Commissioner Jerry Cirinio, the City of Painesville, JobsOhio, Team NEO and the Lake County Ohio Port and Economic Development Authority collaborated with Aero Fluid Products to help make the expansion project happen.

Aero Fluid received a $200,000 development grant from JobsOhio to help with the project's fixed asset investments and infrastructure. The Ohio Tax Credit Authority also approved a six-year, 1.392 percent tax credit for the company. The agreement requires Aero Fluid to stay at its Painesville location for at least nine years.
