Police believe a suspect who robbed a Wickliffe Dollar General could be linked to other armed robberies in the area.
On Saturday around 5:30 p.m., a man entered the Dollar General Store at Euclid Avenue and Lloyd Road.
He demanded the store clerk open the register. With one hand on his rusty silver revolver located in his waistband, he reached for the cash register drawer.
The suspect fled the scene before he could take any money.
Police said the same suspect is believed to have committed armed robberies in Euclid on August 17 and another one in Willoughby Hills on August 23.
While no injuries were reported, police are concerned at the number of robberies in a short amount of time.
Wickliffe Police Lt. Pat Hengst told News 5 they need to find the suspect before he does it again.
"Anytime someone is using a weapon and the frequency here! Three times in a week. It has us concerned," he said.
