Classes have resumed after a handwritten threat evacuated Wickliffe Middle School Tuesday morning.

According to police, a teacher found a note on a table around 10:15 a.m., indicating that a bomb was about to go off.

Students and staff were evacuated and a bomb K9 unit responded to the scene.

Although officials did not believe the threat was credible, police officers said they would remain on scene until the issue was resolved.

Police detectives are now working to investigate who made the threat.
