WICKLIFFE, Ohio — The first medical cannabis dispensary in the Cleveland-area is opening Wednesday at noon in Wickliffe.
The Wickliffe location, 30133 Euclid Ave., will be the second one Greenleaf Apothecaries, LLC has opened in Northeast Ohio, with the first one opened on Greentree Avenue in Canton on Jan. 16.
Patients can come to receive a consultation from a trained representative and will be able to purchase medical cannabis flower, according to a news release.

The Botanist hours will be from Tuesday to Saturday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The building's design was inspired by 19th century laboratories, greenhouses and the study of botany.

“We want patients to feel comfortable accessing treatment and gaining an understanding of the power and applications of cannabis by making the dispensary experience open, welcoming and informative,” said David Neundorfer, Chief Executive Officer of Greenleaf Apothecaries, in a news release.
The Botanist will sell a selection of cannabis flower and plans to have vape oil, tinctures, edibles and capsule once Ohio processors have product available for sale.
The Greenleaf team will operate its own cultivation and processing facility in Middlefield and expects to offer Botanist-branded products later this year.
