A large quantity of illegal drugs with an estimated street value of $18,000 was seized from a Painesville residence on Monday.
Law enforcement officers from Lake County Narcotics Agency, Painesville Police Department and the Lake County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 861 North State Street after receiving several complaints of drug activity.
Heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, marijuana and prescription pills were taken from the home. In addition to the drugs, a vehicle, $2,000 in cash, drug paraphernalia and a stolen handgun were also recovered from the home.
Authorities did not make any arrests during the search warrant but investigators are anticipating felony charges against the residents.
