The man who died in a Kirtland house fire Monday night has been identified.
Kirtland police, with the help of the Lake and the Cuyahoga County Coroner's Offices, have identified the body as Douglas M. Oberlander.
Officials said Oberlander lived at the house on the 10200 block of Chillicothe Road. His death seems to be directly related to the fire, according to authorities.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
