PERRY, Ohio — Every year Perry High School ends the school year with a clap out for their seniors, and this year will be no different.
On Friday at 3 p.m., seniors will line up in their cars and parade around the neighborhood near the school.
The “clap out” will follow this route:
• The seniors will snake through the high school parking lot, where staff members will be lined up to recognize them.
• They will then exit the school at the Opportunity Avenue entrance.
• They will proceed straight onto Green Street.
• Turn right on Thompson Road.
• Right on Main Street.
• Right on Center Road.
• End at Success Boulevard entrance.
The district is asking members of the community to come outside and "clap" their appreciation for the Class of 2020.
