Posted

A man was transported to the hospital by helicopter after he and the tractor he was driving fell over a 90-foot ravine on Worrell Road Thursday afternoon, Willoughby Hills police confirmed.

Willoughby Hills Fire Department said the man was moving logs when he and the tractor went of the cliff.

Fortunately, at no point was the man pinned by the tractor.

Crews responded and found him next to the tractor awake and talking.

He was then transported by helicopter to a local trauma center for evaluation.

The man's tractor was also rescued from the ravine and returned to his property.

The condition of the man is unknown.

Correction: newsnet5 previously reported a semi-truck fell over the ravine.
