EASTLAKE, Ohio — A worker from the Eastlake Service Department came to the rescue Saturday after a kitten was found trapped in a storm sewer.
The worker, Patrick Curtis, went down in a sewer manhole and used a 20-foot tape measure as a giant cat toy to lure the kitten out of the pipe.
The kitten was pulled to safety and a nearby neighbor adopted the feline and named it “Tunnel.”
