WILLOUGHBY, Ohio — The Willoughby Police Department has arrested two people during a drug trafficking bust Thursday.
Police said they executed a search warrant at 9:30 a.m. at a home in the 5100 block for Chestnut Hill Drive for suspected drug trafficking.
Officers arrested Vanessa Pettrey, 31, on a warrant of drug trafficking, according to Willoughby police.
They also arrested Edward D. Nicholson II, 28, as he was returning to the home.
Nicholson was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant through the Cleveland Metro Parks Rangers Office and a misdemeanor warrant with Richmond Heights police, according to a press release.
No one was injured during the incident.
Pettrey was transported to the Lake County Jail and will appear in court Friday morning.
