Officers with the Willoughby Police Department are spreading some holiday cheer this season by helping others.

Willoughby's Police Association raised money through donations and decided to use that money to go shopping for Toys For Tots.

The officers and some little helpers shopped for the perfect presents on Thursday. Toys For Tots crews then picked up the treasurers to distribute to children this holiday season.

"You think about all the people that don't have anything for Christmas, food, shelter, coats, toys, we wish we could do more," said Willoughby Police Dept Det. Lt. Jim Schultz.

The daughter of Willoughby Police Officer Jason Gresko, who was killed in a crash while on duty five years ago, was among the children helping to pick out toys.
