Willoughby police are trying to identify a couple who may have been involved in several recent Target thefts.
A couple damaged some items in Target on Monday, according to the store's police report. Target security said that the man had cut the strap on a Beats headphone set while the woman distracted employees. He hid the headphones, valued at $99, and left the store quickly with the woman.
This was not the first time the couple had been in the store and concealed merchandise, Target stated.
Police received Target photographs dated April 6, 8, 10 and 11 that showed the suspects in the store on multiple occasions and of the couple's car.
The photographs showed a white man in his late 20's or early 30's with brown or reddish hair and a goatee and a woman who was somewhat heavyset with long brown straight hair, according to police.
The suspects reportedly drove an old model gold or tan Pontiac Bonneville, police said.
