AVON LAKE, Ohio — With school out until May 1 due to the coronavirus, many students, especially seniors, may feel like they are missing out on creating memories and celebrating their last time as high school students. Avon Lake High School is hoping to help seniors celebrate their accomplishments by decorating their front doors.
Seniors are asked to create a memory door at home with memorabilia and photos. Once they are done, students should send the pictures to the school for a future social media post.
Families can get creative by using at-home items such as photos, shirts, varsity letters and printed signs.
Many families are also posting images on Twitter, which the school district is retweeting @AvonLakeSchools.
