A drug trafficking operation in Lorain County was shut down by detectives, police announced on Tuesday.
According to police, on Tuesday around 7 a.m., narcotics detectives from the Lorain Police Department and Elyria Police Department conducted multiple search and arrest warrants in the two cities.
Police said the targets of the operation were high level drug traffickers responsible for supplying and selling large quantities of heroin and cocaine in Lorain County.
Multiple arrests were made and more are pending, police reported.
