A gas leak in Lorain closed down Broadway Avenue between 4th Street and 6th Street, northbound and southbound, according to Lorain Fire.
Businesses were evacuated at 457 Broadway Ave. and 502-530 Broadway Ave. The leak was due to a construction crew, Lorain Fire reported.

Evacuation were lifted around 2:40 p.m., according to Lorain Fire.
