Lorain County Public Health offering free, drive-thru flu shots Thursday

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio — Lorain County Public Health is offering free flu shots this week.

On Thursday, Dec. 3 a drive-thru flu shot clinic will be open from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at North Ridgeville Fire Department 1 located at 7000 Ranger Way in North Ridgeville.

Adults and teens ages 16 and older will be able to receive a flu shot at the drive-thru clinic.

At the same time, additional flu shot clinics available for everyone will be open at Avon Middle School located at Long Road in Avon.

The CDC recommends a yearly flu shot for everyone six months and older, Lorain County Public Health said.

Lorain County Public Health asks that those receiving flu shots help save time by printing and filling out the online form to bring with them to the clinic.
