AMHERST, Ohio — Sunday marks Pi Day 2021, celebrating the date that reflects the mathematical constant of the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, and a pie shop in Amherst is making the most of it.
Mama Jo Homestyle Pies is hosting a sale, offering its small chocolate cream pies for the festive price of $3.14.
“People love pie in general and any extra day that’s a good excuse to eat pie people take advantage of,” said Jenna Rabosyuk, president of Mama Jo Homestyle Pies. “So what’s a better way to celebrate pie than eating it on Pi Day.”
The pies at Mama Jo Homestyle Pies are made fresh every day and feature 36 different flavors to choose from.
Mama Jo Homestyle Pies is located in Amherst Plaza at 1969 Cooper Foster Park Road.
