The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a dirt bike and an SUV.
At around 3:40 p.m. on Sunday, Jeffrey Cooper, 20, of Cortland, exited a private driveway at 40600 Parsons Road while riding his 2008 Yamaha dirt bike.
Cooper attempted to make a right-hand turn onto Parsons Road when he crossed left-of-center into the eastbound lane.
Margaret Pretzloff, 36, of Grafton, was driving eastbound on Parsons Road in a 2015 Ford Explorer when she struck Cooper head-on. Inside her car were her two children, ages five and six, who were sitting in the back seat.
Cooper wasn't wearing a helmet and died as a result of his injuries.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said speed appears to be a factor in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing and drugs and alcohol do not seem to be a contributing factor in the crash.
