Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in Elyria.
Elyria police were called just before midnight on Monday for a report of a shooting in the 2300 block of Reeves Avenue.
The victim, 31-year-old Kenneth Shinafelt, was transported to Mercy Hospital and then flown to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made at this time.
