One person remained hospitalized Saturday morning following a Friday evening crash on SR 511 at Vermilion Road in Henrietta Township in Lorain County.
Michael Hill, a 54-year-old from Kipton, is in serious condition at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland after Metro Life-Flight transported him. The driver of the other car, 47-year-old Dawn Byers of Lagrange, was treated and released from Oberlin Mercy Hospital.
Hill’s 2009 Chevrolet Impala traveled southbound on SR 511 when Byers allegedly failed to yield as she merged left onto Vermilion Road, causing the head-on accident, according to OHP.
OHP said the crash remains under investigation.
