Riddell announces plan to relocate from Elyria to North Ridgeville.
Company officials released a statement this week with details of the planned departure citing lack of space at the current Elyria facility.
The company said the new building will handle production of full size collectible football helmets, football gear and apparel while still allowing future expansion.
“Overall, the North Ridgeville location will provide Riddell with operational efficiencies, support our continued expansion, and offer new ways for our Ohio employees to excel in their careers with Riddell,” said Riddell spokesperson Erin Griffin.
