A 17-year-old Wadsworth teen accused of killing a 98-year-old woman has been indicted on multiple charges in connection with her death. Gavon N. Ramsey, 17, was charged Tuesday with aggravated murder, murder, kidnapping, aggravated burglary, and gross abuse of a corpse.

Ramsey's case was bound over from juvenile to adult court last month.

On April 9, authorities found Margaret Douglas dead inside her home. Her family had last reported hearing from her on April 3. Her body was found concealed inside a closet under clothing, according to police.

Ramsey came to the attention of investigators when he became a suspect in several unrelated crimes in the area, police said. Soon after, Ramsey was taken into custody and charged in connection with the 98-year-old's death.

Police said they believe Douglas was strangled by the 17-year-old.
