MEDINA, Ohio — Medina’s popular year-round Christmas attraction Castle Noel announced it will be temporarily closing due to COVID-19 concerns.
“Due to the recent significant rise in cases of COVID-19 and out of abundance of concern for our guests and staff, we will be temporarily closed. We look forward to seeing all of you as soon as possible,” Castle Noel posted to Facebook Saturday.
The museum and entertainment attraction features many recognizable costumes and props from Christmas movies like "The Grinch", "Elf", "The Santa Claus," "Jingle All the Way" and “A Christmas Story.”
Museums and indoor entertainment facilities were allowed to reopen on June 10 as long as state-issued guidelines were followed, according to Gov. Mike DeWine.
Castle Noel said it will provide updates on its eventual reopening on its Facebook page.
