Medina Township police say there has been no evidence found to support a sex assault claim made by a 26-year-old woman in early December.
Police say the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation completed its forensic analysis of the evidence and found no evidence to support a sexual assault. However, police are still investigating the case for other possible criminal charges.
The woman reported the assault on Dec. 3. She told police she was assaulted by three suspects while she was running on Hamilton Road.
Medina Township released a composite sketch of one of the suspects shortly after the alleged assault.
The sketch produced several leads for the police department to follow.
At this time, no charges have been filed.
