One car crash kills two in Medina County

Posted

Two people were killed in a crash on Sunday in Medina.

The crash involved a 1996 Chevrolet Camaro that was traveling east bound at a high speed on Buffham Road.

It went off the right side of the road, striking a utility pole then continued through a yard and struck a tree.

The driver, Martin Davis, 30, of Lodi was not wearing his seatbelt and alcohol appears to be a factor, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The passenger, Kevin Scholz, 29, of Redding California was also not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The Medina Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
