Imagine driving down the road and a bottle comes flying at your windshield.

That's what has happened to several drivers in Medina County over the past week.

On Tuesday, a woman reported that a Gatorade bottle was thrown at her car from a passing car. The impact of the bottle shattered her windshield.

While Medina Township police were talking to the driver, two other drivers in Granger Township reported similar damage.

Then, later in the evening, two drivers in Montville Township reported that their cars had been damaged by thrown bottles.

All drivers described the suspect's car as a dark-colored Honda.

The officer responding to the Montville Township incidents located a car matching the description, with a boy hanging out the rear passenger side window.

Police stopped the car and found three boys and two girls inside. One of the boys admitted to throwing the bottles, police said. He was taken to the juvenile detention center for vehicular vandalism.

Possible charges against the other juveniles are pending.

Police said during the investigation they found two more vehicles had been damaged in Hinckley Township.

Anyone with similar damage is asked to contact their local police department.
