LODI, Ohio — A pedestrian died Friday night after he was struck by a car in Lodi, according to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The pedestrian has been identified as Cole Filhart, 45, of Lodi.
According to troopers, Filhart was hit by a car traveling south on State Route 421 near mile post 2 around 8 p.m.
Authorities say following the crash, Filhart went to a private residence and was then transported to a nearby hospital and later died.
The crash remains under investigation.
