NELSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Portage County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide after a 17-year-old girl was found dead Friday afternoon.
According to authorities, the incident happened on Knowlton Road in Nelson Township around 4 p.m.
The 17-year-old girl has been identified as Kaylee Freitag, according to the Portage County Sheriff's Office.
An 18-year-old male, identified as Zachary Blosser, was charged with one count of murder, deputies said.
