A new ALDI store is coming to the city and there will be a hiring event in July.
ALDI announced on Wednesday that the store will host a hiring event on July 12 to fill store associate ($12/hr), shift manager ($16.75/hr), and manager trainee positions ($45K/year) for the new store.
ALDI said it offers compensation for employees much higher than Ohio's miniumum wage, as well as health insurance, dental coverage, and a 401K for staff working at least 25 per week.
The hiring event will take place at the Holiday Inn Express, located at 9459 State Route 14, in Streetsboro. It will run from 7 a.m. to noon and then from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Applicants must be 18 or older to apply. Applicants also need a high school diploma or GED, must be able to life 45 pounds, and will go through a drug screening and background check.
