HUDSON, Ohio — A Hudson teacher is accused of sexual battery involving a minor.
According to the Portage County Sheriff's Office, Heidi Hallstein, 56, was charged with sexual battery.
Authorities said they were contacted by Hudson police on August 4.
Officials said the charges against Hallstein stem from an alleged sexual encounter that took place at her home with a minor student from the Hudson City School District. Deputies learned one of the incidents happened with the student around January 2017.
Deputies said the Hudson City School District provided their complete cooperation during the investigation.
