A juvenile is in custody after allegedly pulling a gun on a parent during an argument.
Shortly after 5 p.m. on July 2, Ravenna police responded to the 600 block of S Meridian Street for an argument that had escalated out of control.
A press released said the juvenile brandished the handgun and then fled the scene.
As police were arriving at the house the juvenile returned, prompting police to call in the SWAT team as a precaution.
The suspect was eventually taken into custody after surrendering to officers.
Police said a handgun was recovered at the house but they did not specify where the juvenile obtained the weapon.
Authorities are still investigating the incident. Police did not say if charges would be filed.
