Kent police are investigating the death of a 23-year-old man who was found along the Cuyahoga River Sunday.
According to Kent police, troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol were in the area of Haymaker Parkway around 7:28 a.m. when one trooper saw the man's body.
Kent paramedics responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Kent police are investigating the death along with the Portage County Coroner's Office.
The Kent Police Department identified the man as 23-year-old Daniel Harwood. Police say he was formerly a Kent State student but was not presently enrolled.
