Man arrested for allegedly stealing more than $30,000 of eyeglasses from Streetsboro ClearVision

A suspect has been arrested in the theft of more than $30,000 worth of designer eyeglasses from a Clear Vision store back in March, Streetsboro police reported.

Streetsboro police reported the Clear Vision store on Streetsboro Road was robbed of $34,410 worth of designer frames, including Chanel and Tom Ford brands.

Police were told the theft occurred at 1:38 p.m. on March 12 and the suspect was in the store for about three minutes. 

According to police, an arrest warrant was issued for Maurice Burris, 58, of Akron, and he was taken into custody on Thursday. He was then taken to Portage County Jail.
