MANTUA, Ohio — The Mantua Police Department is mourning the death of beloved police K-9 Vader.

Vader, who recently struggle with ailing health, came to the department seven years ago.

Per the request of Lt. Kenneth Justus, Vader's handler, there will be no funeral service.

The department said the K-9 program's future is undetermined at this time.
