KENT, Ohio — A female student, who was walking on the fitness track at Kent State University on Tuesday, was assaulted by a man who pulled down her pants, according to Kent State University police.
Eugene Clark, 21, of Newton Falls, is charged with gross sexual imposition, assault and obstructing official business, according to school officials.
At approximately 10 a.m. on Tuesday, a woman was walking on the west side of the fitness track near DeWeese Health Center, when a man approached her and pulled down her pants, police said.
The female student fell during the encounter. She received minor scrapes and abrasions.
The man was reported running in the direction of Loop Road and East Summit Street.
The matter remains under investigation.
Kent State police are asking anyone who was in the area and who may have seen something to contact them at 330-672-3070.
