RAVENNA, Ohio — A husky was found on the brink of death in Ravenna last week.
The Portage Animal Protective League said the dog was found on Lake Rockwell Road.
They were afraid the dog wouldn't survive the night. They believed the dog was dumped there due to the fact that the people who found him, who frequently walk in that area, had not seen him the previous day.
The dog is between two and four years old and only weighs 18 pounds.
The veterinarian he is staying with does not know why he is in such poor condition except starvation.
