A Southeast High graduate is now an official member of Team USA, according to an article by News 5 media partner Record-Courier.
Jenna Fesemyer competed in the Grandma’s Marathon in Michigan, finishing with a time of 1 hour, 36 minutes and beating the qualifying time of 1:38, the article said.
Fesemyer’s time qualified her for a spot on Team USA Paralympic Team for 2019, according to the article.
After gaining her spot on the team, Fesemyer will attempt to qualify for the USA Paralympic Team in 2020 and travel to Tokyo to compete, the article said.
