A suspect allegedly responsible for multiple area bank robberies is now in custody.
According to Ravenna police, 24-year-old Cortez Williams robbed two Huntington banks in Ravenna and one in Carrollton in the last year.
The Ravenna robberies happened in March 2015 and September 2015. He allegedly robbed the Carrollton bank in October.

During the September robbery, Williams allegedly went into the bank on West Cedar Avenue and presented a note to the bank teller. He fled on foot with an unknown amount of money.
Ravenna police and Carrollton police worked with the FBI Tuesday to arrest Williams at his home in Carrollton. He was taken into custody without incident.
