WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Crews are working to repair a gas leak that caused an outage in Richland County Saturday afternoon.
According to the Springfield Township Fire Department, the incident happened at the intersection of State Route 42and Hanley Road in Washington Township.

Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area.
The cause of the gas leak and outage is under investigation.
