MANSFIELD, Ohio — Mansfield police are investigating a fatal car crash.
The accident happened on Saturday around 9:30 a.m. in the 400 block of West Cook Road.
A 2013 Kia Soul was driving in the right westbound lane on West Cook Road at the same time a 2005 Chevrolet pick-up truck was driving the in the left westbound lane. The two vehicles collided, which caused the Kia to travel off the right side of the road and hit a utility pole, according to police.
Judy Brown, 44, was a passenger in the Kia.
She was transported to Ohio Health, where she later died.
The driver of the Kia suffered from non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation and no arrests have been made.
