Ohio State Highway Patrol says a 13-year-old girl was hit by a car in Lake Township Saturday night.
Troopers say a grey 2012 Volkswagen Passat was traveling northbound on Cleveland Avenue when the girl went into the road.
The 13-year-old suffered serious injuries and was taken to Akron Children's Hospital by Lake Township Fire and EMS.
The incident is still under investigation.
