Alliance firefighters battled a large fire at the Schott Feed and Supply facility along East Patterson Street early Tuesday morning.
The fire broke out sometime around 2 a.m. and has destroyed the largest building on the property.
Three ladder trucks were being used by Alliance and surrounding fire departments to bring the flames under control around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.
By 5 a.m. no flames were visible but smoke was still seen coming from the building as firefighters poured water on the entire building.
All but a small section of the roof collapsed but the main walls remained standing without much of their siding.
Roads around the scene were closed to traffic.
