ALLIANCE, Ohio — Saturday, before the Greater Alliance Carnation Festival Grand Parade, five Alliance Middle School football players were caught on camera in the middle of a random act of kindness.
The five boys, Aidan Mozden; Braylon Nicholson; Isaiah Cameron-Pow; Kamden Jones and Dominic Dunson, all helped in assisting an elderly woman in a wheelchair down a grassy path on State Street so she could join her family at the parade, according to Alliance City Schools.
The boys walked with her and made sure she made it safely down the rough path along a busy road in her chair as there were no sidewalks for her to take.
Alliance City Schools recognized the boys’ kindness in a Facebook post, saying how proud the boys made their community by choosing to offer help without being asked.
The school district said that this random act of kindness is a great example of how to be a caring citizen.
