A boy in Kent is being praised as a hero after he notified an adult of a house fire.
Kent police said Brandon Waterson was playing outside when he noticed a house on fire on South Francis Street. His actions resulted in a quick response from the City of Kent Fire Department, saving the house and the homeowner's dog, a Shih Tzu named Chloe, according to police.
