PLAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A woman who mistook her van’s gas pedal for the brake crashed into a Bureau of Motor Vehicle’s office Friday morning, according to CantonRep.com.
According to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened in the 2800 block of Whipple Avenue NW in Plain Township just before noon, CantonRep.com reported.
The woman told police that she mistook what pedal was what while pulling into a handicap parking spot, according to CantonRep.com.
Authorities told CantonRep.com that the van ran over a handicap sign, through the building and stopped just short of the BMV’s front counter.
No injuries were reported.
