A case of whooping cough was reported at a Massillon school, administrators say.
According to officials, there was only one case reported at Massillon Junior High/Intermediate School and it is not considered an epidemic.
The school was notified of the case on Dec. 1.
Whooping cough, also called pertussis, is a highly contagious respiratory tract infection.
