Missing Adult Alert for Perry Township man canceled

A Missing Adult Alert issued in Ohio after a Stark County man failed to return home on Labor Day has been canceled.

Ernest Staley was found safe, according to authorities.

According to Perry Township Police, Staley was last seen around 1 p.m. Staley left his home Monday afternoon and has not returned. Police describe Staley as a white male, who's 83 years old. Staley is 5'11" tall, weighs 160 lbs. with gray hair and brown eyes.

Police say Staley gets easily confused, has a history strokes and is need of medication. He drives a red 2016 Ford Escape with OH plate number GJH9179.
